The Connecting Carers Project is funded by the Carers Support Fund. The purpose of the project is to support unpaid carers in Rhondda Cynon Taf. This project aims to support unpaid carers, by providing in depth one-to-one advice sessions, addressing areas such as income maximisation advice, budgeting advice, debt support, housing advice, energy support and one-off financial support. The project also delivers financial capability training sessions, to increase knowledge of support services and improve resilience, confidence and health and wellbeing of unpaid carers within the community.
